## What the TikTok channel is for

If you sell through TikTok Ads, your product catalogue there is subject to the same kind of review as any other shopping channel: price, availability, and product data all need to match what a shopper actually sees on your storefront. The TikTok channel checks for that, and it is labelled **Beta**.

## Why Beta

TikTok is newer to Rabbot's channel line-up than Google and Meta, and TikTok's own catalogue diagnostics are still limited for many accounts. In practice that means Rabbot's cross-check runs in full, but TikTok itself does not always hand back the same depth of detail on why a product was rejected. Beta reflects that gap on TikTok's side, not a weaker check on Rabbot's.

## Who can connect it today

TikTok support is in Beta and currently open to a limited pilot. If your store is in the pilot, the **TikTok Ads** card appears in **Settings**. If it does not appear, your store is not in the pilot, and the rest of this article describes what the channel does once it reaches you. Google and Meta connect from **Settings** today on any paid plan.

## When to give TikTok a channel slot

Beta is a statement about maturity, not a warning. The check itself is the same one Google and Meta get, and it runs in full. TikTok is simply the newest channel in Rabbot, with the shortest track record behind it, and the point of the label is that you know that before you choose.

For a store in the pilot, two cases where connecting it is the obvious call:

Connect TikTok when TikTok Ads is the only place your products sell. There is nothing else competing for the slot, and a cross-check on your one selling channel is worth more than no cross-check at all.

Connect TikTok when your plan carries more than one channel slot. Growth watches up to three channels and Pro watches every channel, so TikTok runs alongside the established Google and Meta checks rather than in place of either. You keep what you already trust and add the new one beside it.

The case to think twice about is the single slot on Starter while Google or Meta is carrying most of your sales. There, the slot is better spent on the channel your revenue actually depends on.

## Adding it

If your store is in the pilot, open **Settings**, find the **TikTok Ads** card, and choose **Connect**. Your plan sets how many channels you can run: Starter covers one, Growth covers up to three, and Pro covers every channel, current and future. If your plan has no room left, the card says so before you click. If there is no TikTok Ads card in your Settings, the channel has not reached your store yet.

## What it checks

The comparison is the same one every channel runs: your product feed against your live storefront pages, product by product, covering price, availability, required identifiers, and missing or empty product data. This is the groundwork most catalogue rejections trace back to, on any platform.

Rabbot re-checks a product as soon as your store reports a change to it, sweeps your full catalogue daily, and runs its TikTok check daily too.

## Reading a TikTok finding

A finding names the product and the field that disagrees between your feed and your page. Treat it as disapproval risk: a gap of the kind that gets products rejected on shopping channels generally, surfaced early so you can close it.

If your TikTok account shows a catalogue that has not granted full diagnostics, or a first check that is still setting up, that is expected while TikTok establishes the connection. Product-level checks from Rabbot's own cross-check are unaffected.

## Switching or dropping the channel

Starter watches one channel at a time and allows one change every 30 days: choose **Connect** on the card for the channel you want, and the allowance moves across. Reconnecting the channel you held most recently never counts against that. Growth watches three channels and Pro watches every channel at once, so neither runs into the rule. When TikTok Ads is no longer the channel Rabbot watches, its daily cross-check stops, its findings and history stay in the app to read, and the rest of your monitoring continues as normal. [Switching which feed channel Rabbot watches](/docs/billing/switching-channels/) covers the rules.
