## What you get

Rabbot sends one email when it catches a new problem, and nothing at all when the problem is fixed. The email arrives the same day the check finds the issue, so you hear about it while it is still fresh. For most findings that first email is the only one: no reminder the next day. A finding that is blocking sales while it stands is the exception, and Rabbot does chase those, on a widening schedule that settles into a daily reminder until the problem clears.

On top of the individual catch emails, Rabbot sends a weekly digest that rounds up what is still open across your store. It is a summary, not an action list: read it to see the shape of things, then work from the dashboard for the detail.

## Critical and warning emails

The free plan emails you about Critical findings only. Paid plans also email you about Warning findings. Critical means something that was healthy has broken; warning means the state is wrong but it did not break today. Either way, Info-level findings stay on the dashboard and never trigger an email.

## Why you will not get flooded

If a problem closes and then reopens soon after, Rabbot does not send a fresh email for it. The window is an hour for a critical finding and a day for a warning or an info one. The reopening still shows on your dashboard, and the weekly digest covers it while it stays open, so a page that is briefly unstable does not fill your inbox. A problem that closes properly and then breaks again later does get a new email: that is a genuinely new incident, not noise.

## Setting the email address

1. Open **Settings** in the Rabbot app.
2. Find the **Notifications** card, described as "Where catches and the weekly digest go."
3. Enter the address you want to use.
4. Choose **Save email**.

Both the catch emails and the weekly digest go to the same address. There is no separate address for each.

## If emails stop arriving

Check the address in Settings first: a typo there is the most common cause. If the address is correct and the dashboard shows open findings with no emails to match, check your spam folder and any inbox rules that might be sorting mail from Rabbot out of sight. A quiet inbox with a clean dashboard is not a fault though: it usually just means nothing new has been caught.

Slack alerts and email are separate settings. Turning one on or off does not change the other. Email works on every plan; Slack alerts start on Starter. The two carry different amounts: Slack receives critical catches; everything below critical stays in email and the weekly digest.
