## What the TikTok channel covers

If you sell through TikTok Ads, TikTok reviews the products in your catalog and reports problems as diagnostics. Rabbot brings what TikTok reports into the same place as your Google and Meta results. TikTok (Beta) is labelled Beta because it is an approved app that is still being polished.

## What Rabbot does with it

On paid plans, Rabbot reads TikTok's catalog diagnostics and data-quality issues every day, through 4 TikTok checks (Beta). A finding names what TikTok reported: a catalog diagnostic or a data-quality issue.

What TikTok reports appears in your dashboard and weekly digest, and an AI agent can read it over [MCP](/docs/mcp/what-the-mcp-server-is/). TikTok (Beta) diagnostics do not post to [Slack](/integrations/slack/). Only critical catches do, and the [Slack alerts page](/docs/notifications/set-up-slack-alerts/) lists which findings those are.

Rabbot's own feed cross-check is a separate layer. It compares the data behind your [product feed](/glossary/product-feed/) with what your live storefront shows, and raises a gap as disapproval risk. It does not depend on what TikTok returns, so product-level checks keep running either way.

## How to connect

Open Settings, find the TikTok Ads card, and choose Connect. Connecting a channel needs Starter or above, and the Free plan cannot connect channels. Free gets the day-zero feed cross-check at install.

[The TikTok channel (Beta)](/docs/feeds/tiktok-channel-beta/) explains when to give TikTok a channel slot. On a plan with limited slots, the slot is better spent on the channel your revenue depends on. [Plans at a glance](/docs/billing/plans-at-a-glance/) and [switching channels](/docs/billing/switching-channels/) cover the allowance and how to move it.

## What the channel covers

- Rabbot reads your catalog and leaves the catalog and your Shopify products to you.
- TikTok's own diagnostics are still limited for many accounts, so Google and Meta return more detail. The Beta label reflects that.
- Rabbot reads TikTok every day.
- A diagnostic appears when TikTok returns one. If your TikTok catalog has not granted full diagnostics, or a first check is still setting up, expect fewer details until TikTok establishes the connection.
- Rabbot reads on its own schedule, then notifies you.

## Where to read next

[What feed monitoring is](/docs/feeds/what-feed-monitoring-is/) explains how the layers fit together. The [Google Merchant Center](/integrations/google-merchant-center/) and [Meta](/integrations/meta/) integrations cover the other two channels. For the term itself, see [product feed](/glossary/product-feed/) and [disapproved product](/glossary/disapproved-product/).
