Rabbot vs SEORadar: URL change alerts or a Shopify watch

SEORadar diffs your HTML and alerts on SEO changes, from $199 a month. Rabbot watches a Shopify store and its Google and Meta feeds from $19. Who needs which.

SEORadar is a URL change monitor: it snapshots your HTML and alerts you when SEO elements change, on plans from $199 a month. Rabbot is Shopify-native monitoring plus feeds: it watches the pages that earn your money, reads your Google Merchant Center and Meta product verdicts, and checks the feed against the live storefront, from $19 a month. SEO apps edit. Feed apps build. Rabbot watches both. If you run agency sites or a large non-Shopify domain, SEORadar fits. If you run a Shopify store that sells through Google Shopping or Meta, Rabbot does.

What SEORadar does

SEORadar describes itself this way: “We monitor your website for differences and alert you to SEO impactful changes with email, Slack or text alerts… It starts with HTML snapshots. We capture, archive and analyze your HTML.” (as of 2026-09-29, product overview). The home page tagline is “Auditing & Monitoring SEO Time Machine” and says it monitors “over 100 different aspects, including added noindex, deleted canonicals, and unexpected redirects” (home page).

The overview lists changes it alerts on: a page redirecting to a new URL, a 301 becoming a 302, a keyword removed from the H1 or title, a removed footer link, a canonical changing or returning a 404, a sitemap URL count dropping, an inaccessible sitemap, plus meta robots, robots.txt, hreflang, opengraph and schemas. By default, per the FAQ, critical alerts go by text message and email, high alerts by email, medium alerts stay in the app and low alerts are suppressed; settings can change this.

Crawls run on a schedule: “The admin can schedule crawls from the edit domain screen”, and you can start one by hand (FAQ). The vendor pages do not state the crawl interval options (checked 2026-09-29). Plans are sized in “URL Tests per Week”.

Pricing, per month, as printed on the pricing page (as of 2026-09-29):

  • Lite, $199: 1,000 URL tests per week, 1 audit per week, 1 domain, 3 competitors, 3 month data archive.
  • Pro, $499: 4,000 URL tests per week, 3 audits per week, 4 domains, 6 competitors, 6 month archive.
  • Max, $999: 12,000 URL tests per week, unlimited audits, 10 domains, 20 competitors, 12 month archive, staging versus production, API access.
  • Enterprise: custom, 1,000,000 URL tests per week; the page offers a meeting.

The page offers a free 30 day trial with no credit card required, and Lite, Pro and Max each carry a “Start Free Trial” button.

What Rabbot does

Rabbot watches whether your live storefront can still sell. It checks canonical tags, structured data, redirects, noindex, 404s, titles and descriptions, headings and hreflang, plus large content changes, the password page and a missing add-to-cart. A store-down heartbeat runs about every 5 minutes (how checks work). A product update triggers a recheck about 39 seconds after the store event. Paid plans check each page daily, Free at least weekly and as often as daily on pages that keep changing (check cadence).

Rabbot sends one alert per problem, and nothing closes until a live recheck confirms the fix (when an issue closes). Slack alerts are on paid plans, and a weekly digest is on every plan. It asks Shopify for three read scopes and takes no customer or order data.

Plans: Free $0 (20 URLs, no card), Starter $19/mo (1,000 URLs, one feed channel), Growth $39/mo (5,000 URLs, up to three channels), Pro $79/mo (15,000 URLs, all channels).

Where SEORadar is the better pick

SEORadar works on any site, not just Shopify. If you manage several domains for clients, or a large site outside Shopify, Rabbot does not cover you: Rabbot watches Shopify stores and no other platform.

It also does things Rabbot does not. It compares staging with production before a release (Max plan). It tracks competitor pages. It keeps full HTML snapshots for 3 to 12 months by plan. It sends text alerts for critical changes. Enterprise runs up to 1,000,000 URL tests a week; Rabbot’s largest plan is 15,000 URLs. Rabbot has no staging compare, no competitor tracking, no keyword rank tracking and no App Store reviews yet.

Where Rabbot is the better pick

Rabbot is built for one platform, so its checks follow how a Shopify store breaks: a theme edit, an app install, a redirect, a product update. It rechecks a product page about 39 seconds after the store event and keeps the issue open until a live recheck proves the fix.

The feed side

A URL monitor reads pages at public URLs. A Merchant Center verdict is not published at a public URL. On paid plans Rabbot connects to Google Merchant Center and Meta and notifies you when a product is disapproved or rejected. It also cross-checks your feed against the live storefront every day, price, availability, GTIN, brand and missing data, and flags the mismatch as disapproval risk. Continuous feed monitoring is on paid plans only. TikTok (Beta) catalog diagnostics are read daily on paid plans. None of the SEORadar pages we saved mention Shopify, Merchant Center, product feeds or Google Shopping (checked 2026-09-29).

The entry price is $19 a month against $199. Free watches 20 pages for as long as you like, no card.

Can you run both?

Bar chart of plan prices: SEORadar $199, $499, $999 a month; Rabbot free plan, $19, $39, $79 a month; from SEORadar's own pages and Rabbot's App Store listing checked 2026-09-29. Yes. An agency can use SEORadar across client domains and put Rabbot on the Shopify stores that sell through Google or Meta. They read different things: SEORadar reads your HTML, Rabbot reads your storefront and your feed verdicts.
