Rabbot vs DataFeedWatch: build the feed, then watch it

DataFeedWatch builds, fixes and submits your product feed. Rabbot watches the live storefront against it and tells you when Google or Meta disapproves a product.

DataFeedWatch builds your product feed: it fills in missing data, fixes errors in the feed and sends it to Google Shopping, Facebook, TikTok and other channels. Rabbot watches what happens next. It connects to Google Merchant Center and Meta, notifies you when a product is disapproved or rejected, and on paid plans cross-checks the feed against your live storefront every day. SEO apps edit. Feed apps build. Rabbot watches both. If you need a tool to build and manage the feed, DataFeedWatch is the closer fit. If you need to know the day a price, a stock level or a missing GTIN puts a product at risk, Rabbot is. Most Google Shopping stores run both.

What DataFeedWatch does

The App Store listing is titled “Data Feed Watch Shopping Feeds”. On 2026-09-29 it showed a 4.7 rating from 339 reviews, and a launch date of April 12, 2013 (listing).

Its description reads: “Optimize incomplete and error-filled product feeds, no coding or IT needed. Fill in missing data, find and fix errors, and use pre-loaded templates to grow sales across your shopping ads, all from one feed management platform.” It names Google Shopping, Facebook Ads, Pinterest and TikTok as channels, “and over 2k more”.

The feature bullets include “1-Click Feeds”, “AI-powered optimization for titles, descriptions, size & color, and categories”, and “Automatically pause low or out-of-stock products to stop wasted ad spend”.

Pricing as listed, in USD: Shop Plan $64 / month ($639 / year), with 1,000 SKUs, 3 channels, 1 shop, 2 free feed setups, 1 automatic daily shop update and “Automatic feed review”. Merchant Plan is $84 / month, Agency Plan $239 / month, and Enterprise $599 / month. Each plan has a 15-day free trial.

What Rabbot does

Rabbot monitors your live storefront and your channel verdicts. It does not build a feed.

For feeds, on paid plans, it connects to Google Merchant Center and Meta and notifies you when a product is disapproved or rejected (Google channel, Meta channel). On paid plans it cross-checks the feed against the live storefront every day: price, availability, GTIN, brand and missing data. Mismatches are reported as disapproval risk (feed monitoring, feed alerts). TikTok catalog verdicts are TikTok (Beta): it connects the same way, and Beta means the channel is still being polished.

It also checks the pages that earn your money: canonical tags, structured data, redirects, noindex, 404s, titles and descriptions, headings, hreflang, the password page and a missing add-to-cart. One alert per problem, and nothing closes until a live recheck confirms the fix. A weekly digest is on every plan, Slack alerts on paid plans.

Rabbot asks Shopify for three read permissions (read_products, read_content, read_themes) and takes no customer or order data. Plans: Free $0 (20 URLs, no card), Starter $19/mo (1,000 URLs, one feed channel), Growth $39/mo (5,000 URLs, up to three channels), Pro $79/mo (15,000 URLs, all channels).

Rabbot does not build, map, optimise or submit a feed, runs no campaigns, and has no reviews yet.

Where DataFeedWatch is the better pick

If the feed itself is the problem, DataFeedWatch does the work and Rabbot does not. It fills in missing data, applies templates, optimises titles and descriptions with AI, groups products with custom labels, pauses out-of-stock products in your ads and sends the result to the channels you use. Rabbot builds nothing, maps nothing and submits nothing. It runs no campaigns.

If you sell through more than Google and Meta, its listing names Pinterest and TikTok “and over 2k more”, and its works-with list includes Criteo, eBay and Awin. Rabbot covers Google Merchant Center and Meta, with TikTok in Beta. DataFeedWatch has 339 App Store reviews (2026-09-29). Rabbot has none yet.

Where Rabbot is the better pick

Rabbot is built for the part after the feed leaves your hands: what the channel decided and whether your storefront still matches what you sent. It costs $19 a month on Starter against $64 for DataFeedWatch’s Shop Plan, and Free watches 20 pages with no card.

The feed side

On paid plans Rabbot connects to Google Merchant Center and Meta and notifies you when a product is disapproved or rejected. On paid plans it cross-checks the feed against the live storefront every day, price, availability, GTIN, brand and missing data, and flags the mismatch as disapproval risk. TikTok (Beta) catalog diagnostics are read daily on paid plans.

The DataFeedWatch listing says it will “find and fix errors” and lists “Automatic feed review” in its plans. Both act on the feed. The listing does not describe alerts after submission (checked 2026-09-29).

Can you run both?

Bar chart of monthly plan prices: DataFeedWatch $64, $84, $239, $599 a month; Rabbot free plan, $19, $39, $79 a month; from the App Store listings checked 2026-09-29. Yes. DataFeedWatch builds and submits the feed. Rabbot reads the live storefront and the channel verdicts after it goes out. If a price on the product page drifts from the price in the feed, or Google disapproves a product, Rabbot reports it.

FAQ

Do I still need a feed app if I install Rabbot? Yes. Rabbot does not build, map, optimise or submit a feed. A feed app produces the feed. Rabbot watches the live storefront and the channels after it is sent.

What does DataFeedWatch cost? The listing shows the Shop Plan at $64 per month ($639 per year) with a 15-day free trial, and higher plans at $84, $239 and $599 per month (2026-09-29).

Does DataFeedWatch tell me when Google disapproves a product? The listing does not describe alerts after submission (checked 2026-09-29). Its “Automatic feed review” and “find and fix errors” address errors in the feed. Rabbot notifies you when Google Merchant Center or Meta disapproves or rejects a product.

What is a DataFeedWatch alternative? Rabbot is not a replacement: it does not build feeds. If you want another feed builder, the Google Shopping feed apps comparison covers six of them. If you want to watch a feed you already have, Rabbot does that.

Does Rabbot work with feeds built in DataFeedWatch? On paid plans Rabbot reads your Merchant Center and Meta results and your live storefront, so it does not matter which app built the feed.
