Which URLs Rabbot monitors
How your monitored list is built on Free and on paid plans, where to see it, and what the plan caps mean.
How the list gets built
On Free, Rabbot starts you with a smart pick of your 20 most important pages (homepage, top collections, best sellers) and you can swap any of them at any time. That first pick happens once, when you install. After it, the 20 slots are yours: add a page, remove one, or replace one in the app’s URL settings. Rabbot never overwrites an edit you have made.
On a paid plan, Rabbot uses automatic discovery up to your plan’s cap: it finds your storefront pages itself and there is nothing to pick. Product pages, collections, policy pages, and your home page all arrive the same way.
Free covers 20 URLs. That is a small number on purpose, so Free watches a slice of your catalogue rather than all of it.
Where the list lives
Open Monitored URLs. The top of the screen shows how many URLs you are using against your cap, with a progress bar under it. Below that is every URL Rabbot watches on your store domain.
On a paid plan, each URL carries a coloured dot for how it answered on the last check:
- Green: Rabbot got a response from the page.
- Amber: your store asked Rabbot to back off for the moment.
- Red: the request did not get through at all.
Reachability states covers what each colour is telling you. A paid plan also carries Search monitored URLs, to narrow the list once it gets long.
What the caps are
Your cap comes from your plan: 20 URLs on Free, 1,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Growth, and 15,000 on Pro. The URLs guarded tile on the dashboard shows the same count, so you can see from the front page whether you are near the ceiling.
If your catalogue is larger than your cap, Rabbot monitors up to the cap rather than stopping. Moving up from Free raises the ceiling and hands the list to automatic discovery, which fills the new room on its own.
What Rabbot does not monitor
Rabbot watches pages on your storefront. It does not watch your Shopify admin, your checkout, or pages on a domain that is not your store.
Pages sitting behind a password answer with Shopify’s password gate instead of the real page, so the page Rabbot checks is not the page a shopper would see. If your whole storefront goes back behind its password, which happens more often than you would think after theme work, Rabbot reads the gate for what it is and raises it on the dashboard as its own finding.
