Switching which feed channel Rabbot watches
How the channel switch works on Starter, what the 30-day rule covers there, and what happens to the channel you leave.
Why switching exists
Starter watches one feed channel, Growth watches three, and Pro watches every channel Rabbot supports, current and future. If your channel allowance is smaller than the number of channels you sell through, you choose which ones Rabbot watches, and you can change that choice rather than being locked in for the life of your subscription.
What counts as a channel
Rabbot’s feed channels are Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and TikTok Ads, which is in Beta. Google and Meta each have their own card in Settings today. TikTok is currently open to a limited pilot, so its card appears in Settings only for stores in that pilot.
Making the switch
There is no switch button. You choose Connect on the card for the channel you want, and Rabbot moves your allowance across to it.
If your plan has no room left, the card tells you before you click. It carries the gating line, an invitation to switch or upgrade, and a See plans link. If you have already used your switch, the card says so and shows when the next one becomes available.
Do not drop the channel you already have in the hope of freeing a slot. The card handles the change for you, and dropping a channel first gains you nothing.
The 30-day rule
A switch that happens because your plan is at its channel limit starts a 30-day cooldown, counted from the moment you switch. Only those limit-driven changes count against it.
Reconnecting the channel you held most recently is always free. That is a repair rather than a switch, so it never uses your allowance and never starts a cooldown. If a connection drops or needs re-authorising, you are not paying for it with your monthly change.
What happens to the channel you leave
A switch does not clear anything out. The findings and history Rabbot gathered for that channel stay in the app to read, on the same retention as the rest of your history, and simply stop updating: no new cross-checks, no new alerts for it. Rabbot does not touch your store’s listing on the channel itself, only its own watch over it. Your store data is removed only when you remove the app, covered in Uninstalling and data removal.
If you outgrow the switch
If you regularly need more than one channel watched at the same time, upgrading is the fix, not switching. Growth covers three channels and Pro covers every channel, so neither runs into the 30-day rule. See Upgrading and downgrading for how a plan change affects your channels.
